Ishmael-Related Chat Open on Yahoo Chat

In September 2002, Quinn reader Victor Rincon opened a new chat room that can be accessed from yahoo chat. The room is entitled "Daniel Quinn Ishmael". Victor explains, "This room is for open discussion regarding various subjects explored in Ishmael and other books written by Daniel Quinn. It is also a way for everyone around the country, and hopefully the world, to exchange ideas on how to make the world a better place. And so that those that have just finished reading Ishmael don't feel like they are the only ones on the planet that have done so."

Since opening, the room has become a place for many to have enlightening conversation with those that have already read Quinn's books and get those that have not read them interested in them. If you are looking for others to share your thoughts with, this is the place for you.
